LOSI Uninstall
I've implemented logging of the installed files in LOSI. I will then use this log during uninstall to make sure I remove all installed files and only the installed files

vwm2-2.1 with xPaintClass support released!
The very old Virtual Window Manager module vwm2 has now xPaintClass support!
That means, some changed settings, several new features and naturally the xPaintClass visual features.
I recommend to look in the supplied ReadMe, even if you have used vwm2 before.
You can download vwm2-2.1 at www.ls-universe.info or via NetLoadModule!

LOSI Progress
I have fixed two of the three things I have to do before releasing a new version of LOSI. I've added the latest version of SLI-ThemeManager and I have localized all the "english-only" strings I have found.
So the one thing left to do is to make sure the uninstaller removes exactly the files the installer added. No more, no less. I have looked in to it, and it has proved to be much harder than I thought it would be.

LSGT - Dev progress
I've added some new features since last update, and wanted to share them. I'll soon have a release ready for the public, but for now it is still teaser screens :-)

The first SS shows off how subsets work, and also the Geometry control and $evar$ links. The four dotted squares with the small cross in the Geometry control is a control which let's you select the reference point for the coordinates. See next SS for an example where it is relative to screen centre.

The second screen shows what happens if you click the Cross button to the right of the Geometry control: The cursor changes into a cross, and you can specify position and size by dragging a box anywhere on the screen.

LOSI updates
2007-10-08:
Finished a new version of the SetShell util. This time it's written in LUA.
2007-10-09:
Added SLI-ThemeManager to the installer and updated a couple of .rc files to support it. Updated formating and a few entries in popup.rc. Changed the shortcuts for changing the shell to use the new LOSS written in lua
2007-10-10:
Added a new option for installing LOSI stuff (for example icons and utils). This used to be done when installing the core, but is now it's own option. In the process I also made the file association a little smarter so it doesn't try to set an icon that doesn't exist.
2007-10-14:
I fixed some little things today that I noticed when I tried to do a full install with losi. I associated .lsz files with SLI-ThemeManager.exe. The shortcuts to LOSS on the desktop and in the startmenu are now working. I had to supply the full path to the *.lua files. Added a messagebox when you switch shells using command line parameters (i.e. by using shortcuts). It'll ask you if you want to reboot/logoff (Yes or No) or if you want to Undo the shell switching. I also fixed the code that's supposed to launch explorer after uninstalling LS.

RSS updates
The title links in the rss feed now links directly to a specific progress report. So if you click on an rss title you get to a trimmed down version of this page that only displays that single post. Click on the "litestep progress" heading or "Progress reports" tab to get from that page to the normal page.
