LiteSTEP.de - major updates
LiteSTEP.de has done some major updates now. It seems we can start to run for ouer goal now. If you like to help us just have a look.

Clickonic 1.1 Released
This is a pretty major update, so I'm not going to bother posting the entire changelog here. You'll have to check out the documentation for that ;), but here's a list of the major new features and changes
* Support for the selection rectangle and system menu.
* Clickonic will paint it's own window if xDesk, jDesk, or etc isn't loaded.
* Clickonic shows infotips now.
* Support for hiding My Documents, My Computer, My Network Places, The Recycle Bin, and Internet Explorer based on windows preferences.
* Support for saving icon positions into a file instead of into the registry.
* Repositioning bangs and support for "toggle" on all on/off bangs.
* A bunch of bug fixes :)

SLI ModuleManager v2.0
You want to know what modules are online available?
You don't know what's happening in your module folder?
-> SLI-ModuleManager will tell you "everything" you need to know!
Features:
Support for every online, local and archived module that is available for LiteStep!
Batch downloading (into module archive, custom folder or direct installation).
Uninstalling of modules.
Support of all current and future online module repositories.
Some infos about recommended modules for themeing (mostly my own :P)

Requirements:
An older LiteStep module, which will be downloaded, if you don't already have it.
Just allow the download via NetLoadModule after the first start of SLI-ModuleManager and it will never bother you again. ;)
Installation:
Extract the content of the zip-archive in your LiteStep utilities folder. (But you can use any other folder too.)
What is missing?
Well, an explanation what the different modules actually will do!
You only have the name of the module to guess its purpose.
-> Download it and look in the ReadMe of the module, if you want more informations.

Clickonic 1.1 RC1
Clickonic 1.1 is approaching its release. There is a ton of new features (like UseSelectionRectangle) and changes. I would like to work out most of the bugs before I release it though, so give it a try, and let me know if you find anything.

More Vista fixes
Two more small Vista-specific fixes this time around:
Just like on XP, the welcome screen delay is gone. And once you've logged in, the background no longer remains black - the wallpaper is shown. Fun!

System Sounds
Yet more fixes have found their way into the core. Unfortunately, they may not make it into 0.24.8 but rather into some later release. Stay tuned.
On Vista and XP, LiteStep no longer stays silent on screen lock and unlock. Instead, it plays the respective system sounds (set in Control Panel). On Vista (and just on Vista), it now also plays the logon sound. On previous Windows versions this was done automatically, but starting with Vista, the shell is responsible for that. Either way, LiteStep takes care of it.

LiteSTEP.de is now multilingual
LiteSTEP.de is now available in English and German. We've prepared all for a french version to but ther are no translaters yet.
We look forward to upload some screencasts on LiteSTEP.de that explain how the translationsystem works, this weekend.
Every member of the community could deside which documents will be translated if he register to the site and upload a module documentation.

xTray-2.1 Released!
xTray-2.1 has been released!
No new features, but many bugfixes and internal improvements.
If you already use a 2.x version of xTray -> Update to v2.1 (fully backwards compatible since 2.x)

Vista fixes, part 2
Startup folder items are no longer run twice on Windows Vista. I FINALLY checked in the fix. There are still a couple of issues in the startup code though - some items aren't run at all on 64-Bit versions!

ScreenVWM 0.7
ScreenVWM is a recently introduced module which combines the taskbar and VWM into a single, user-friendly object. In addition to bug fixes, this version adds extensive customizability to the behavior, layout and appearance.
